Type XR relays are developments for specific applications from the type AR relay range. They are electro-mechanical relays witha consistent positive action, a long service life and complying with BS142. Type XR105 has no flag indicator, type XR106 has a hand reset flag. Both types are available with a suppression diode across the coil to reduce the effects of the back emf which occurs on switch-off.
